Did you know that 1 in 5 Minnesota households are food insecure?
That's why this October 3rd, I’ll be running the Twin Cities 10K to raise funds for Second Harvest Heartland food bank. Your gift in any amount makes a difference - just $1 helps provide 3 meals for neighbors experiencing hunger.
What to add something fun, and musical? If you donate $50 or more, you can choose a song for my running playlist. Give $150 or more, and my sidekick Uma the schnauzer and I will perform a special piano arrangement of the song of your choice!
SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE - AUG 4-8: in honor of my friend and wonderful musician Pat Kent's birthday, we’re joining forces to support hunger-relief in Minnesota. If 30 more people make a donation in any amount by midnight on Aug 8, we'll perform a special song together for YOU (with our sidekick Uma the schnauzer of course) - and you'll have a chance to vote on the song. Thanks for helping boost our hunger-relief funds with this birthday challenge!

I am participating in a Twin Cities Marathon Weekend race and have chosen to support Second Harvest Heartland as a charity runner!
Second Harvest Heartland is a leading hunger-relief organization. In partnership with more than 1,000 food shelves and hunger-relief programs in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, they provided more than 143 million meals to neighbors last year. They also help families enroll in food assistance and provide prepared meals for people who need more than groceries. Second Harvest Heartland is a leader, convener and voice in hunger-related policy discussions.
I'm proud to run for a cause that matters to me and my community during the weekend of October 2-4. Please support me in my efforts!
