My Story…

In 2021, at the age of 15, my son Karl was diagnosed with Epilepsy. What seemed like an out of no where diagnosis started us on our Epilepsy journey. At an age when he should be spreading his wings and gaining independence, I watched as his world became smaller and smaller with every seizure. The hardest part for me was not having the answers or being able to fix it.

Through the resources provided by the Epilepsy Foundation we have been given information to better understand the disorder, connected with doctors, received help navigating school, found support so we didn't feel so alone navigating this new life.

I am happy to say Karl has been seizure free for over 2 years.

Please consider supporting my run. Even the smallest donation ensures these necessary resources are available for every newly diagnosed individual and family

Thank you
