Help Ruth raise money

Hello All!

Many of you know I started taking swim lessons when I was 6 months old at the YMCA in Redlands, CA, and have been in the water ever since! I have truly appreciated all the friends I have made, coaches who have guided me, and supportive people I have met along my swim journey. After club swimming in Wisconsin and Arizona, high school swimming at Seton Catholic Prep, and college swimming at St. Cloud State University, I am currently competing with the Florida State University club swim team while also training with the Area Tallahassee Swim Club Master's program.

In addition to all the pool practices and competitions, I have participated in several open water swims including the Point to La Pointe Open Water Swim five times. What an amazing way to spend a Midwest summer Saturday morning - swimming from the shore of Bayfield, WI, to Madeline Island in beautiful Lake Superior, meeting new people at the start and finish lines, and then spending some shopping and relaxation time on Madeline Island after the event.

As I register for my sixth opportunity to swim the Point to La Pointe Open Water Swim event, I am asking for your help supporting my registration and fundraising for Recreation and Fitness Resources in Bayfield, WI. My goal is to raise $1000, but due to my passion for swimming and love of fitness and recreation (my current Master's program at Florida State University is Exercise Physiology with a concentration in Sports Nutrition), I am hoping to exceed my goal!
