My Story…
As a Great Lakes fanatic who loves being in the water and spending time camping on Madeline Island every summer, this swim resonates with me as a way to connect even deeper with one of my favorite lakes in one of my favorite Wisconsin locales. This will be my first time participating in the 2.1 mile Point to La Pointe open water swim, and I felt called to register via the fundraising option as a way to support the community through the Bayfield Rec Center. Seeking donations of $25 to $50, but any contribution amount is received with gratitude and appreciation!
