My Story…
I am very excited to swim my first Point to La Pointe open water event. I never imagined I would do this, but here we go! After a tough year physically last year, I have embarked on 2026 with a new appreciation for all that my body can do. I do not want to take it for granted any longer. Swimming has given me a space to gain physical strength and escape from the noise of the world. It's given me a quiet freedom that I have not experienced with other sports, and it's a gift I didn't know that I needed.
Help me reach my goal to swim 2.1 miles of the greatest lake for a great cause. The Bayfield Recreation Center is a gem in the community, and I am happy to play a small part to support it. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting me with the swim.
