My Story…
Hi friends and family! This summer, I'm taking on the 20th Annual Point to La Pointe — a 2.1-mile open water swim across Lake Superior from Bayfield to Madeline Island. Swimming and endurance sports have been a huge part of my life, and this race is my way of challenging myself, doing something I love, and giving back to the community of Bayfield.
I'm raising funds for the Bayfield Recreation Center, which operates the only public pool within a 70-mile radius. For a coastal town of just 600 people, this pool is everything — serving families, Fire and EMS, the National Park Service, rescue teams, and even the northernmost competitive swim team in Wisconsin. Your donation helps provide scholarships so every kid has the chance to discover a love of the water, regardless of their financial situation.
