I’m excited to be running the 30k event in person again this year, and I’ve been training hard to be ready for this challenging test.
My family is particularly interested in St. Joe's psychiatric care, research and innovative programs to help radically reduce the disability and stigma associated with mental illness and addiction.
For that reason, I have joined the Team from the Peter Boris Centre for Addictions Research so that my funds raised will be used to conduct state-of-the-art research on the causes, consequences and treatment of addiction.
I’m challenging all of you once again to help me reach my fundraising goal — and hopefully repeat as the top individual fundraiser. Your generosity over the past 11 years has meant a great deal to me, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has already contributed to this year’s campaign.
Training this year has been especially tough, so your support truly helps carry me across the finish line.

Welcome to my fundraising page!
This year I’m taking on the Around the Bay Road Race and raising funds for St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation. St. Joe’s is the heart of Hamilton — nearly everyone I know has been touched by the exceptional care provided here.
Funds raised through Around the Bay will buy much‑needed healthcare equipment at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. It may seem surprising that items like ultrasound machines, wheelchairs, and other essential devices aren’t covered by provincial operating dollars. The truth is nearly every piece of equipment used in the Hospital is funded by donations from people like you and events like the Bay Race.
Please know that the money you help me raise has a real, immediate impact on the lives of patients at St. Joe’s. Your support buys the tools clinicians use every day to diagnose, treat, and comfort our neighbours.
