Knee Knacker – more than just a race!

To increase our com­mu­nity impact and legacy, the Knee Knacker community can support North Shore Search and Rescue by donating here, or by setting up / donating to an individual fundraising page.

Donations go directly to North Shore Search and Rescue, and an electronic tax receipt is issued to the donor. 

We hope you’ll be as excited about this as we are! Please note, rais­ing funds is com­pletely optional: it will not affect the random selection process or participation in the event.

Anyone - whether participating in the run or not - can set up fundraising page: click "Register" and select the "Fundraising" sub-event. 

Donations made during the December / January registration process will be credited to individual fundraising pages beginning in February / March.

For any runner who raises $100 or more on their participant fundraising page, we will waive the 4 hour vol­un­teer require­ment. 

And a little friendly competition: every $1000 raised on your fundraising page before June 30 2026 will earn you one ticket into a mini-draw for a guaranteed spot in 2027. Raise more and raise your chances! 

We feel strongly that as a trail running community we can not only hold and participate in an amazing event, but also take the opportunity to have a huge impact on people’s lives. What a great way to give back AND improve your chances of lining up race day!
