Zoo Move & Groove 5K

By signing up as a fundraiser, you can directly support the Zoo’s conservation efforts while you move and groove for wildlife.

This year’s race features a special focus on sringsnails — small but mighty creatures that play an important role in keeping desert waters healthy.

Funds raised through this event support the Phoenix Zoo’s ongoing conservation efforts for 11 native Arizona species. Through the Arthur L. and Elaine V. Johnson Conservation Center, Zoo scientists breed and raise animals for release, conduct research, and work with partners to restore and protect fragile habitats.

Every dollar helps make a difference for Arizona’s wildlife, from tiny springsnails to some of the state’s most iconic species.

As an Individual Fundraiser, reach the milestones below to receive prizes as a thank you for doing the legwork (pun intended) to help us raise funds for the Phoenix Zoo and our conservation programs.

All prizes will be available at the awards table during Zoo Move & Groove at Lakeside, after the race.

*Prizes not picked up at Zoo Move & Groove will be mailed within two weeks after the race. Please make sure your mailing address is correct when registering. Please help us raise even more by picking up at Zoo Move & Groove rather than having them mailed. Once prizes are handed out, they cannot be exchanged, regardless of additional funds raised.

**All tickets and tours will be valid for one year from the date of printing. Exclusions on tours will apply and are subject to availability. Backstage Adventure Tour and Premium Tour will not include greater one-horned rhino. All other animals are subject to availability.

***Prizes are awarded for reaching milestones as an Individual Fundraiser and does not apply to Team Fundraisers. Prizes do not accumulate; only the prize corresponding toto the amount raised will be awarded.
