My Story…
In the summer of 2025, my wife, Alicia, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). As her husband, watching her navigate both the disease and the side effects of treatment has been difficult. MS has changed what day-to-day life looks like for her. Activities such as walking our dog, preparing a meal, or driving across town can leave her exhausted and needing to rest for the remainder of the day.
I want to do more to help, but there is only so much I can control. Alicia used to love running. Now, her energy levels often don't allow her to jog for more than a few minutes before exhaustion sets in.
This summer, I am running the Edmonton Marathon, my first marathon, as a way to support her and raise money for MS research in Canada. If you know someone who has been affected by MS and would like to help, this is an opportunity to make a difference.
Thank you for supporting both my short journey to the finish line and Alicia's lifelong journey with MS.
