Run this fast course through the scenic streets of historic St. Augustine.

Top finishers will compete for cash prizes across multiple categories:

Age Group Awards (Male & Female) 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each group:
9 & under, 10–14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75+

⏱️ Race Timing

Chip-timed by 1st Place Sports. Participants must cross the timing mats to be included in official results. Final times will reflect both chip and gun time.

💆‍♀️ Post-Race Recovery

Enjoy free massages provided by First Coast Rehabilitation in the gym after the race.

💖 Florida’s Fastest 5K with a Purpose

Since 1989, the Matanzas 5000 has raised and donated well over $300,000 to support youth running programs in St. Johns County. Proceeds benefit middle and high school track and cross-country teams, including the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.

ACRR also hosts an annual youth running camp, teaching fundamentals of running, teamwork, and sportsmanship—instilling lifelong values of health and community.

🚗 Parking Information:

Garage next to Finish Line

• Free before 7:00 AM
• $15.00 for all-day parking after 7:00 AM

Street Parking

• Allowed where curbs are not painted yellow and no “Reserved Parking” signage is present
• Available along San Marco Avenue and US Highway 1

Orange Street Lots

• Near Race Expo, first-come, first-serve

Castillo de San Marcos Lot

• Metered ($1.50/hour), accepts credit/debit
• Paid parking begins at 8:00 AM

Prince of Peace Catholic Church

• Free parking at 100 San Marco Avenue

Note: Parking rates are set by the City of St. Augustine. Race organizers do not receive any portion of parking fees.
