2026 Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival

The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival returns June 19-21, 2026! Participants will have the opportunity to compete at all skill levels, from rookies to world champions, on the waters of Mooney's Bay for a weekend of racing and fun!

The multi-day festival offers spectators free admission for a variety of artisans, exhibitors, delicious culinary treats, beach-side bar, and non-stop racing in community, corporate and sport divisions.

Teams will compete in two 500m races in various Challenge Cup divisions on Saturday, June 20. Top teams will advance to Sunday, June 21 for a 100m, 200m and 500m Grand Final.

Small boat races will be available on Saturday, June 20 (using standard boats). Limited spots available.

NEW Challenges include Building & Development - Women, Come From Away (for visiting teams), Panda Cup (local and visiting team divisions), and Youth - Women!

As a member of the DBC Race Series in the Central Region, DBC crews can use our event as a qualifier while competing for the honour of being crowned the 2026 Sue Holloway Cup Champions!

Individual registration is also available for anyone new to the sport or new to the area and looking to join a team.
