Walnut Avenue Family & Women’s Center is our benefiting charity and has been since we first started 15 years ago. 

Since the inception of She.is.beautiful, over $200,000 has been donated to Walnut Avenue Family & Women's Center

The mission of Walnut Avenue Family & Women’s Center is to end cycles of trauma, support lifelong learning, and promote healthy relationships with oneself and others. 

In the last year, Walnut Avenue has provided:

• 741 crisis intervention sessions
• 260 individuals received emergency food and/or clothing
• 514 individual services for youth
• 2071 individuals received community outreach and participated in a healthy relationship workshop.
• 32 children (ages 0 – 5) and their families received 500 supplemental food bags. 

Walnut Avenue has been in Santa Cruz County for 90 Years!

Walnut Avenue Family & Women’s Center (Walnut Avenue) is a 501 (c) 3 public benefit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for women, children, and families in Santa Cruz County for over 85 years and is a strength-based family center. Walnut Avenue seeks to improve the holistic well-being of the individuals and families we serve. Our service providing programs include Early Education Center, Services for Children & Youth, Services for Survivors of Domestic Violence, Family Support Services, and Community Engagement. Many of the families participating in Walnut Avenue programs are from under-served populations due to poverty, early pregnancy, homelessness, and/or domestic violence.
