VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Volunteers are truly the heartbeat of our races, providing essential assistance and support to ensure the success of our events. Without their unwavering dedication and tireless support, our races simply would not be possible. Join us in this important and rewarding role, and make a meaningful and lasting difference in your community!

The positions Available:
What you’ll do:
- Pre-race packet pickup - handing out shirts and bibs
- Load-in and Load-out - assist with getting the venue set-up and broken down before and after the event
- Venue - helping with handing out food, medals, water, awards, and much more
- Registration - packet pickup on race morning
- Course monitors - directing runners, cheering, keeping the course safe
- Water stop - handing out water, hydration, and gels on the course
- Beer garden - Must be TABC certified, handing out beer at the beer tent
- Bike lead - ride in front of the first runner from start to finish
All final assignments will be given on site. Please be flexible as we need to fill all assignments to have a great event. Every person needs to sign up individually. If you have a group please sign up all separately for an accurate count.

Volunteer Role Descriptions
| VOLUNTEER ROLE | ROLE DESCRIPTION |
Packet Pickup Volunteer
| Volunteer greet runners and assist with assigning their bib and handing out their race shirt. Volunteers also help to answer questions and give out basic race information. This role will require that you use a laptop or phone to assign bibs. |
Load-in/Load-out Volunteer
| This role will help set-up and tear-down the event. This incudes, but is not limited to tents, tables, food, race start and finish line, barricades, and signage. |
Venue Volunteer
| Venue Volunteer are placed throughout the venue at stations such as start/finish line, food tent, awards tent, bag check, and other areas to assist runners with the different elements of the event. |
Registration Volunteer
| Registration Volunteers are responsible for getting runners checked in and their bibs assigned on race morning. Registration Volunteers can also be placed at the Swag tent to hand out shirts. |
Course Monitors
| Course Monitors are strategically placed along the race route to direct runners in the correct direction, assist with course control at intersections, and cheer on the runners. |
Water Stop Volunteer
| Water Stop Volunteers are strategically placed at the water stop/aid stations along the race course. The volunteers are responsible for setting up and tearing down the water stop/aid station according to the directions provided. All supplies are provided by the race staff. |
Beer Garden
| Beer Garden Volunteers help to set up/tear down the area including (but not limited to) icing the beer, setting up tables, signage, and serving runners. Some volunteers may be used as entry/exit control. |
Bike Leads
| Bike leads will ride in front of the leader of each sub-event through the entirety of the course back to the finish line and then continue to sweep the course for runners in need and to follow the last runners in to the finish line. |
