Our story…

In April 2010 I deployed alongside my best friend Cpl Brian Neil Calvin Ross Pinksen to Afghanistan. Unfortunately in the summer of 2010 in a village named Nak'Honay, Pinksen was struct by an IED. Despite the best efforts of medical staff, his fellow soldiers and his incredible determination and perseverance Pinksen succumbed to his injuries just over a week later.

Pinksen was well known for his incredible fitness standards and embracing hard times. In 2020, the 10 year anniversary of his passing, the team of "In Memory of Cpl Brian Pinksen" was created to celebrate his memory in participating in a competition that he would have loved. Since 2020 we have competed annually in a variety of races demonstrating our commitment to his memory.

Since 2020 we have raised 9169.95$ (As of end of 2025 race year). This means that this year we will break 10,000$ with your help. This will mark a significant milestone of fundraising for support our troops and soldier on.

Each person that reads Pinksens name, looks up his records, or shares a story ensures that his name will never be forgotten.

We will never forget his sacrifice and we will always honour his name.
