My Story…
Reading has been one of the greatest joys of my life for as long as I can remember, and I am honored to have the opportunity to run the Bay of Fundy International Half Marathon to benefit the Lubec Memorial Library. Lubec has been a special place to my parents, Steve and Cathy, for years, and everyone who knows the Dowling family knows that we hold libraries in the highest esteem!
The Lubec Memorial Library is a treasure; free and open to all. In addition to print and media offerings, the Library provides free Wifi and a gathering place for the community, as well as a free space for remote work. I would greatly appreciate any and all donations to support this incredible community resource -- now, more than ever, democratizing knowledge and access to information is crucial, and libraries are fundamental in this effort.
