My Story…
Why do I run? Running was my escape to clear my head. Now I run because its something I want to do to improve myself and encourage others around me to get out there and to get their body moving. Last year when I ran my first Icebreaker event, I was recovering from a serious car accident. I was unsure if my body was going to be ready for the race. But, I took it a day at a time, and sometimes I just walked instead of running. The real reason I made it through my race was because I had such an amazing support system in my recovery. The people behind me made me stronger. When you are running, you are not alone. Whether its a life goal you are chasing or running an actual race.... there are people on the sidelines cheering you on and encouraging you when you are running. This is what makes us Stronger Together.
