We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing vital programs for families with ill children.

Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia opened our state-of-the-art Ronald McDonald House adjacent to Townsville University Hospital in 2004, offering a place to stay for over 100 people a night.

Through our accommodation and support services, we strive to Keep Families Close
when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness.
