Broken Goat is known for it's rugged terrain, epic mountain view, and festive atmosphere. It's considered one of BC's most challenging and popular trail races.

  • Broken Goat 50km is one of BC's most challenging and scenic ultra's. This is a point to point route which takes place on the beautiful “7 Summits” high alpine trail and accesses several peaks & ridges along the way while soaking up 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. Participants must be prepared for a long and strenuous journey in remote alpine terrain and also must be comfortable self-supporting themselves until they reach Grey Mountain - 23km into the race. As a condition of participating, all participants, or their parent/legal guardian for participants under 19, are required to read and complete the PACE Sports Fitness Waiver and the Red Mountain Waiver. Participation is only allowed If both Waivers are complete. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • Broken Goat 25km follows the same start as the 50km course and includes the summit of Mount Plewman and traverses along the beautiful high alpine “7 Summits” trail and over Unnecessary Ridge. The majority of the course cruises at an average elevation of 2000m (6550ft) and showcases lofty ridge lines between Nancy Greene Summit and Red Mountain, offering 360 degree views. As a condition of participating, all participants, or their parent/legal guardian for participants under 19, are required to read and complete the PACE Sports Fitness Waiver and the Red Mountain Waiver.   • Broken Goat 12km is a challenging route that starts off at the base of Red Mountain Resort and quickly climbs up to the summit of Red Mountain. Runners can expect to run on some of the best single track Rossland has to offer! Mega views. Mega fun. As a condition of participating, all participants, or their parent/legal guardian for participants under 19, are required to read and complete the PACE Sports Fitness Waiver and the Red Mountain Waiver.
