Since its inception in 2016, the Bowral Classic has become a staple
in the cycling calendar, offering riders of all levels an unforgettable
experience through the picturesque landscapes and charming towns
of the Southern Highlands.
Choose from three road cycling courses on Sunday, 18 October 2026 - 150km Maxi Classic, 120km Challenge Classic or the 85km Rouleurs Classic.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Cycling insurance is compulsory. During the registration process, you will be asked to note your current insurance cover and insurance number (ie. AusCycling). It is your responsibility to ensure your membership covers you for mass-participation events. Refer to your insurer’s conditions if you are unsure. If you do not have appropriate insurance, you will be asked to take out Day Insurance for a fee of $10.
- Age Restrictions: The minimum age for the Gran Fondo road courses is 12 years old. Riders aged between 12-16 must hold an AusCycling Race Licence and be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event.
- Highlanders are a self-nominated group of 'elite' riders in the 150km Maxi Classic course.You may nominate yourself when registering. All Highlanders must be experienced at riding in teams or bunches. Click here for more information.
- Cancellation Policy: Enhanced Refund Protection is offered during the registration process for an additional fee. If you do not take out this protection, you can defer your registration to Bowral Classic 2027 if you contact info@cyclingclassics.com.au by 30 August, 2026.
