Victory Races is back to Labor Day! Join us for a fun and fulfilling experience. Pick your distance or participate in the doubleheader! Each race comes with a medal, a fast course, and a fun time out in the Minneapolis neighborhood. Plus, every step you take supports nonprofits strengthening the Minneapolis community. Course
This course is flat, straight, and fast! The race starts on Webber Parkway near Colfax and proceeds west on Victory Memorial Drive to the flagpole. It then turns directly south to Lowry to the halfway point turn-around and returns the same route, finishing on Webber Parkway near Bryant Ave. The 5K course is flat, out to the flagpole and back. The course and our events are all USATF Certified.

Return to Labor Day Weekend
The Victory Races are also returning to their traditional Labor Day Weekend date! Mark your calendars for a festive holiday weekend filled with community spirit, fast racing, and end-of-summer celebration. After recent schedule shifts, we’re thrilled to bring this long-standing tradition back to its rightful place on the holiday weekend, making it easier than ever for runners and families to plan their race-cation.

Victory Lakes Voyage Challenge
New for 2026, we’re introducing the Victory Lakes Voyage Challenge — an endurance journey that connects two iconic Twin Cities races. Participants who complete the Victory 5K and 10K and the City of Lakes Half Marathon in 2026 will earn an exclusive Voyage Challenge medal to celebrate their 22.4-mile accomplishment across these two storied events. The Voyage Challenge is designed for runners who want to take their training to the next level and earn a one-of-a-kind keepsake for their achievement.
Victory Races 5K
A race for everyone! Whether you’re chasing your next personal best or enjoying a weekend walk with friends, the Victory 5K is a must-run event on a fast and scenic course. This 3.1 mile course starts and ends at Webber Park in North Minneapolis.
Victory Races 10K
Take on the challenge! The Victory 10K offers runners an opportunity to conquer a fast and exhilarating course while enjoying the last day of Summer. Cheerful crowds, medal for completion, and the opportunity to support local nonprofits make this race one to remember. The 10k also starts and ends at Webber Park in Minneapolis. Bring your energy and enthusiasm this Labor Day to celebrate one last run of Summer, and revel in the satisfaction of completing a race that gives back.
Victory Races Doubleheader
Two races, double the fun. Test your endurance with the Victory Races Doubleheader by running both the 5K and 10K! Start your day with a 10K, recharge, and then tackle the fast 5K. It’s the ultimate challenge for dedicated runners, with custom medals, an exclusive shirt for doubleheader participants, community vibes, and the chance to fund impactful nonprofits in Minneapolis. You’ll leave with a full heart and satisfied legs!
Victory Kids Run
Big fun for little runners! The Victory Kids Run is all about inspiring the next generation of athletes with a kid-friendly race that’s energetic, exciting, and inclusive. Perfect for young runners enjoying their final day of Summer, every participant receives a free shirt and plenty of encouragement from the supportive crowd. Bring the family, cheer on the kids, and celebrate community together!
Victory Lakes Voyage
This is a NEW challenge in 2026. Sign up to complete the Victory Races 5k, 10k, and the City of Lakes Half Marathon which all happen within the same week. Participants who register for this endurance challenge will receive registration into all 3 events (remember the City of Lakes Half Marathon sells out), all of the perks participants receive, and an exclusive medal to commemorate their accomplishments.

Bragging Rights - you'll be part of the exclusive group completing both events back to back!
Victory Lakes Voyage Participants
Runners who take on the Victory Lakes Voyage Challenge (Victory 5K + 10K + City of Lakes Half Marathon) will receive everything listed above plus:
Exclusive Voyage Medal — awarded only to finishers of both races (totaling 22.4 miles) that can be picked up at the City of Lakes Half Marathon.
Discount on Run Minnesota or City of Lakes Merchandise - 10% off all additional merchandise online (September 4, 2026 - September 13, 2026), at packet pickup or on site at either Victory Races or City of Lakes Half Marathon.
