  • HALF MARATHON TEAM DETAILS Teams of 4 runners each Each Team must register a Team name All team members must run and complete the half marathon race course to obtain a team time. **THIS IS NOT A RELAY** All teammembers run together Team results are calculated by the average time of all 4 individual runners Each team member will also receive their individual time If one or more team members are unable to participate or complete the race, then the remaining team members will run as individuals and only receive individual race results. No team time will be available.

FEE & CANCELLATION NOTES

  • Organizers reserve the right to deny or revoke entries at their discretion.
  • Sale or transfer of bib numbers is strictly prohibited outside the official online transfer system.
  • Entries are Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable, and Non-Deferrable.
  • Participants unable to attend due to illness or injury are not eligible for refunds, transfers, or deferrals.
    • Optional registration insurance is available through Race Roster during checkout.

Force Majeure & Event Cancellation Policy

The safety of participants, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority. Circumstances beyond the organizers’ control — including but not limited to wildfire smoke, poor air quality, severe weather, natural disasters, public health restrictions, or other force majeure events — may impact the safe delivery of the Edmonton First Responders Half Marathon.

If the event must be modified, shortened, delayed, or temporarily suspended, it will be considered complete once any portion of the distance has been offered. No refunds or credits will be issued in these circumstances.

If the event is fully cancelled prior to race day due to AQHI 7+ air quality, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable factors, organizers may, at their discretion, offer one of the following:

  • Complimentary entry into the 2026 Virtual Event, or
  • A credit of up to 40% of the paid entry fee toward the 2027 Edmonton First Responders Half Marathon

Charity contributions, processing fees, and optional upgrades are non-refundable and excluded from any credit calculations.

We will follow all current City of Edmonton and public health guidelines at race time and communicate updates through official channels.

Agreement

By registering, participants agree to abide by all Edmonton First Responders Half Marathon Rules and Policies and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with participating in an outdoor athletic event.

10:00am Half Marathon START (Individual and Team entries)
