My Story…
I haven’t missed a single NOLA Dogs Race to the Rescue since 2018. It’s a cause that means the world to me, and for the 9th annual 5K on Sunday, October 11th, I’ve officially formed my own fundraising team! We’ll be walking and running through the beautiful historic grounds of Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery, but more importantly, every dollar we raise goes directly to supporting local animal rescues right here in the South. I am committed to raising $100 on my personal page for animal rescue. There are an overwhelming number of dogs who need help in our region. Dogs who have been abandoned, mistreated or given up by their owners. By working together to raise awareness and raise money, we can make a dent in this problem.
