💚 Running for My Mom, Peggy 💚

I am running in the Philadelphia 1/2 Marathon with Tell Every Amazing Lady (TEAL) in honor of my amazing mom, Peggy, who has been battling ovarian cancer for the past four years.

Throughout her journey, she has endured 11 different chemotherapy treatments, countless CAT scans, MRIs, and so many other challenges. Through it all, she has shown me what true strength, courage, and perseverance look like. She has taught me what it means to never give up, even when life throws the hardest battles your way.

I am running for her. I am running for every woman fighting ovarian cancer. I am running for every family who has watched someone they love face this devastating disease. And most importantly, I am running so that no one ever has to feel like they are fighting this battle alone.

My mom is my inspiration, my strength, and one of the strongest people I know. Every mile I run will be for her and for all the amazing women who continue to fight every single day.
