It's that time of year again for PEI's hottest, winter race, the Freeze Your Gizzard is back. This year we are running on Saturday, February 21st, 2026. A PEI Roadrunner's Points Race (5km, 10km and half marathon distances only, not virtual), the Freeze Your Gizzard is one of the more challenging races on PEI. Not only do you get to deal with the cooler temperatures, snow and ice, but you also get to do it while running some lovely hills around Montague! This is a great opportunity to run a half marathon for anyone planning a full marathon in the spring.
You don't want to miss this! This event has sold out the past three years and space is limited.
