Hello friends & family,

For those who have been keeping up with me, this is my 10^th anniversary participating in the Yorkville Run! I’ve used this platform to not only fuel my love for running and exercise; more importantly, I’ve partnered with some incredible local charities from different sectors in need of funding, awareness, and support!

Watching homelessness grow rapidly in our city has really hit home for me. This is why I am partnering with Street Haven, an organization helping homeless women find refuge from the streets for the past 60 years. While roughly 80% of homeless people on the street are men, homeless women are more likely to stay hidden in abandoned buildings, tents, or with abusers. Street Haven exists to change this, operating 8 shelter, housing, and addiction sites across the GTA, keeping over 200 women safely housed every single night and serving 250,000 meals annually.

By supporting my journey this year, you are helping Street Haven meet women exactly where they are, offering them emergency shelter, supportive housing, and skills training to lead empowered lives.
