My Story…
Loosing someone at a young age can often feel extremely isolating among peers, something I personally experienced immediately following the death of my Dad. However, Camp Erin provides a space of inclusivity and belonging among those with similar experiences. The friendships made at camp last a life time and I am grateful to be a part of something so special. After loosing my Dad almost 15 years ago, coming to Camp Erin as a volunteer the past few years and supporting youth grieving the loss of their own person has been an honour. My goal is to support fundraising that will continue to provide this opportunity to youth across Ontario. While I prepare for this run I am often thinking of my younger self and those that supported me throughout my own journey of grief <3.
