Help Emily raise money

At just 16 years old, Emily has already fought and beaten brain cancer twice. Since her initial diagnosis of medullablastoma in July 2021, she’s endured full brain and spine radiation therapy and chemotherapy twice. While she’s a fighter, these life-saving treatments have left her paralyzed from the chest down due to radiation myelitis, an incredibly rare side effect of cancer treatments in pediatrics. Emily is now fully dependent on a wheelchair and her family is adjusting to a new way of life. Her mother, Christine, Emily's sole caregiver and a dedicated special education aide, has been on unpaid leave to care for her daughter full-time. With ongoing financial struggles and mounting medical responsibilities, transportation has become one of the biggest challenges they face. Emily needs a wheelchair-accessible van urgently. Transportation difficulties have already delayed crucial parts of her recovery, including access to promising therapies like daily Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment.
