Six Foot Track Marathon
The Six Foot Track is a 45km trail stretching across the Blue Mountains from the Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba, to the Jenolan Caves.
The marathon started in 1984 and follows the length of the entire trail.
The race is a not for profit event and all profits are donated to the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service who provide volunteer firefighters at the aid stations on race day.
Each year the event has over 1,100 entrants completing the course on race day.
The Six Foot Track Marathon does not operate a wait list and entries are not able to be sold or transferred as per race rules.

This option is limited to entrants who satisfy the preferred entry criteria as per the website https://www.sixfoot.com/race-entry-guidelines Please do not proceed if you do not meet one of these options as your entry will be cancelled and refunded less the payment processing fee. Lottery Entry Closed
By submitting your lottery application, you’ll provide your details, including payment information. If successfully drawn in the lottery, your entry fee and any merchandise ordered and donations will be automatically charged to confirm your place. If payment fails, your spot will be forfeited. All applicants receive a Lottery Application Confirmation (not guaranteed entry). Successful applicants will get their Event Confirmation email on Monday 24th November. Any subsequent request to cancel or defer a successful 2026 lottery entry is subject to our entry cancellation policy

Deferred Entry from 2025 Closed
For entrants who have a deferred entry from the 2025 event. All entries using this option will be validated using entrant first name, last name and date of birth from the 2025 event entry. You then need to select your valid discount option which will again be validated usng the above details.
