What is the My Manningham Fun Run Walk?
The My Manningham Fun Run Walk is a community-driven event supporting Carenet Food Relief in Manningham. It features a 2.5 km accessible walk, 4.8 km run/walk and 9.8 km run options and is designed for participants of all ages and abilities.
When and where is the event?
The event takes place on Sunday 15 March 2026, at Westerfolds Park at 8.30 am. The starting point is at Westerfolds Ridge Picnic Area.
What time does the event start?
Registration & Tag Collection: 7.30 am
Warm-up: 8.30 am
9.8 km Run/Walk Start: 8.45 am
4.8 km Walk Start: 9.00 am
2.5 km Accessible Walk Start: 9.15 am
Is this a timed event?
No, this is not a timed event. We encourage participants to enjoy the run/walk at their own pace. However, you are welcome to track your own time for any personal bests!
Can children participate?
Yes! This is a family-friendly event. Children under 5 years old can participate for free, but they must be supervised by an adult guardian.
Are prams and strollers allowed?
Yes, prams are permitted. For safety reasons, participants with prams should start at the back of the run.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash at all times.
Where can I park?
The nearest parking is at Westerfolds Bridge Picnic Area
Additional parking is available around the park, but you may need to walk to the start line.
Limited street parking is available in the surrounding area. Please park considerately.
Will there be first aid available?
Yes, St John Ambulance will be providing first aid at the start line area Westerfold Ridge Picnic Area. In case of an emergency, call 000.
What should I know about the course?
The course is well-maintained, but some sections are uneven.
Keep an eye out for directional signage and volunteers who will assist you along the way.
Is there anything happening after the run/walk?
Yes! Stay and enjoy a barbeque at the finish line to celebrate your achievement with the community.

What should I wear?

Participants will be notified via email if we need to cancel or delay the event due to unsafe weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain).
Can I switch from 9.6 km to 4.8 km during the event?
Yes! There’s no pressure to complete the longer distance. Patrons can switch onto the shorter/longer course.
