Cherokee Recreation and Parks will host the 3rd Annual Live Like Laken 5K Run/Walk on October 24, 2026, at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA. The purpose of this 5K is to raise money for The Laken Hope Foundation, Inc., which supports existing organizations that promote safety awareness for women, aid, and tuition assistance for nursing students and children’s healthcare. These were all causes that Laken felt strongly about, and she held them near and dear to her heart. Laken Riley was a student at Augusta University after attending UGA, where she was studying to become a nurse. Laken’s untimely death was avoidable and tragic. The foundation's ultimate goal is to promote safety awareness and prepare women if they are ever in danger. We will be handing out safety products and providing information centered around programs that champion safety awareness. Thank you, everyone, for your continued love and support. Together we can all Keep Hope Alive!
The Live Like Laken 5K is a certified race for The Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race.
Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash.

PACKET PICK-UP:
Will be at the Woodstock Recreation Center, 7545 Main Street, Building 200, Woodstock, GA 30188
Thursday, October 22nd, from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday, October 23rd, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
...or you can pick your packet up on race day, October 25th, at Hobgood Park.
If picking up on race day, please allow enough time to get your packet, warm up, etc., before the race start time at 8:00 am.
If picking up at the Recreation Center, please come inside the lobby, and our front desk staff will get your packet for you in no time!
Packets will include a bib, T-shirt (while supplies last), Laken Hope Foundation merchandise, CRPA swag, and more from sponsors and vendors.
We will not be mailing shirts.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION:
We will be offering a Day of Registration at the event. Please arrive at Hobgood Park with sufficient time to register and warm up before the race starts at 8:00 am. Registration will begin at 7:00 am.
You will get a packet filled with your chosen t-shirt while supplies last, a running bib, and other goodies.
