Raise money for Dreamfar

Dreamfar is a nonprofit organization that uses mentorship and running to create an inclusive, noncompetitive community where teens build confidence, resilience, and the skills to pursue their goals.

Our vision is a future where all teens feel supported, capable, and empowered to purse their goals and dreams.

Our core values are:

Inclusion & Belonging-Welcoming, noncompetitive spaces where every teen can participate at their authentic self.

Mentorship-Consistent presence and knowledge of our mentees enables mentors to develop relationships based on trust so that they can grow through the experience.

Growth Through Challenge-Using running as the vehicle to build resilience.

Goal Setting & Follow Through-Helping mentees set goals, follow plans, and gain confidence through the process by learning the power of perseverance and showing up.

Community & Joy-Fostering meaningful connections with peers and celebrating the journey.

Imagine if you could change the life of a teen by lacing up your shoes, and going for a run.

At Dreamfar, we make life-changing opportunities for teens possible through the unique combination of mentorship, and a running program that opens up doors to what is possible. Founded in 2008, Dreamfar is a nonprofit organization based in Newton, Massachusetts that uses mentorship and running to create an inclusive, noncompetitive community where teens build confidence, resilience, and the skills to pursue their goals.

We believe that there should be no barriers to the sport of running.

We believe that a pair of running shoes can change the direction of your life.

We believe that mentorship is a powerful tool for the betterment of ourselves and each other.

We believe that no matter your background or ability you are welcome at Dreamfar.

Our mission is bold. We start every season at square one. This way every teen who shows up gets the same opportunity to build mental and physical fitness, build community, and develop the ability to believe in themself. Dreamfar is funded entirely by donations, fundraising, and grant funding.

The impact of our program is communicated best in the words of our student mentees who share their stories at the conclusion of their season culminating run.
