Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast improves health outcomes for fragile infants throughout the northeast by providing equitable access to safe, lifesaving, pasteurized donor human milk. We are driven by the belief that every baby deserves the chance to thrive, and we support family and community health. Currently serving 100+ hospitals, our milk is dispensed to premature and medically fragile babies when a maternal milk supply is not available.

Founded in 2006, Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast is one of the largest accredited nonprofit milk banks in the country. Driven by the belief that every baby deserves the chance to thrive, we improve health outcomes for premature and medically fragile newborns by providing equitable access to safe, lifesaving, pasteurized donor human milk.
In 2025, we:
- Worked with 1600 generous milk donors to support babies and families in need
- Kept our safe, life-saving donor milk flowing to 117 Hospital Units and Outpatient Dispensaries across 11 states
- Delivered 203,000 bottles of milk to recipients across the Northeast - enough to fill more than 22,000 tiny bellies
- Supported the physical, mental, and emotional health of our community by providing approximately 1.5M essential feedings
