My Story…

This year, I’m running the Falmouth Road Race in support of Learn to Cope — a peer-led support network that provides education, resources and hope to families and friends impacted by substance use. This organization helps ensure no one has to face addiction, recovery or loss alone. Having been in recovery for over seven years, I know how life-changing community and compassion can be. Learn to Cope is a peer-led support network that offers education, resources, and hope for family members and friends who have loved ones affected by substance use disorder.

Founded by Joanne Peterson in 2004, the organization has grown to include thousands of members and has become a nationally recognized model for peer support and prevention programming. If you're unsure where to begin, we're here for you and encourage you to get in touch with us.
