Help Cailin raise money

I am feeling so emotional being able to run this year’s Falmouth Road Race with Marisa’s Mission again. 

For the past 10 years I have dedicated time and energy into running to raise funds for various causes that are important to me. To think back now about the amount given back to others or research with the help of my entire community near and far - past, present and future, it’s astonishing. 

Marisa’s Mission is a foundation that I keep coming back to. The small town feel of a foundation that helps the lives of so many around me keep afloat during a cancer diagnosis is what makes Marisa’s Mission so special. 

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d become a cancer patient one day. How ironic, I thought most days, after all of this running and helping others I found myself in their shoes. But then I would also think, why not me? I am so fortunate that in my case, the breast cancer was found early and I am now almost on the other side of this. Not everyone is so lucky and that’s where Marisa’s Mission steps in! 

This year I get to run with family and friends and help give back to someone out there in need. I was scared that this cancer would change me, but here I am back to doing what I do best. Back, better & more meaningful than ever! 💖🎗️🦋
