My Story…

I ran the Falmouth last year for the first time and it was one of the most magical experiences. I am a Kindergarten teacher and I love what Tommy’s Place does for children fighting cancer and their families. Tommy’s Place gives them a time together in the most beautiful place when times are hard. Last year on the beach days before the race we met a young girl selling handmade bracelets and giving her profits to Tommy’s place and as I was leaving the race I saw a young boy selling lemonade for Tommy’s place. I love how even the youngest children are supporting Tommy’s Place. I knew that I wanted to run the Falmouth again as a part of Team Tommy’s Place and raise money for such an amazing cause! Any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Tommy's Place Provides Over 100 Free Vacations Per Year on Cape Cod!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, nearly 300 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place began offering 104 magical vacations per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
