My Story…
Thank you for visiting my Falmouth Road Race Fundraising Page! Recovery Without Walls is an organization that has changed my life and it means so much to me to have your support!
When I was newly sober in 2014, Recovery Without Walls provided me with a sober living scholarship that afforded me my first two weeks in sober living after leaving treatment. This was a time when I was completely broken and without the money to fund myself. It allowed me time to settle and find a job to start my life over.
Later, through the support of RWW, I was able to attend and graduate from Smith College in 2024. I received both an educational scholarship from RWW as well as mentorship in navigating the application and enrollment process (both wildly intimidating things!). Completing my education upon getting sober was a constant pull and without the push and assistance that I received through RWW I wouldn't have had the educational opportunities that shaped and created the life I have today.
Your donation ensures these opportunities remain available for the many women seeking support on the recovery path.
