My Story…
Running for Veterans holds a Special Place in my heart My Father was a Vietnam War veteran. He was in a Special unit and never spoke of anything he did over there. Vietnam Veterans did not get a fair chance and were not respected when they came home. They risks their lives for their country only to come home with no welcome. Now years later Vietnam Veterans are recognized and finally respected. My Father loved Cape Cod and growing up we spent every summer visiting many times. in 2007 He was finally able to live on Cape Cod until he Passed away from complications due to Agent Orange side Effects. Some of those side effects were transferred to me as I have Tourette's Syndrome and a few other conditions, but they do not stop me from anything. I run to support and Bring Awareness. I'm certain my father looks down every year to watch me run and he's proud and smiling.
