My Story…

I’m excited to share that I will be running in the 2026 Falmouth Road Race as part of the Project Sweet Peas team, in honor of my daughter, Lillian. Project Sweet Peas provides support to families of premature or sick infants, as well as those affected by pregnancy and infant loss.
Lillian was born at just 29 weeks at South Shore Hospital in June of 2023. Within the walls of the NICU, we found not only exceptional medical care, but also compassion, kindness, and support that carried us through some of the hardest moments of our lives.
During our 69-day NICU stay, we celebrated every milestone—big and small—just as we do today. From Lillian’s first bath, to transitioning from an isolette to an open crib, to major milestones like coming off oxygen support, each moment meant everything to us. Now, we celebrate new milestones like learning to ride her scooter, watching her confidence shine through singing karaoke, and soon, her third birthday.
Running this race is more than just miles—it’s a way to give back, to honor how far Lillian has come, and to support other families who are walking a path like ours.
