Help Jackie and Evan raise money

This year, we are running the Falmouth Road Race together for a reason that’s deeply personal to us.

When our little boy Miles was born, we didn’t get the “normal” start. Instead, we spent 59 days in the NICU — living hour to hour, celebrating the smallest wins, and carrying a level of fear we had never experienced before.

The NICU changes you. It introduces you to families fighting battles you never imagined — and to incredible nurses, doctors and therapists who care for these babies as if they were their own. We were also fortunate to form bonds with other families, built through shared fear, hope, and resilience.

That’s why we’re running in support of Project Sweet Peas — an organization dedicated to helping NICU families feel supported, seen, and less alone through care packages, financial assistance, and resources.

We were fortunate — Miles is now home and doing incredibly well, largely due to the care he received. But many families are still in it.

This race is for NICU moms, dads, and babies — no matter where they are on their journey — and for the nurses, families, friends, and organizations like Project Sweet Peas who carried us when we didn’t know what was next.
