My Story…
I’m so excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race this year alongside Punches 4 Parkinson’s Disease, a nonprofit that supports people living with Parkinson’s through boxing and fitness programs. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, as my grandmother lives with Parkinson’s every single day. Watching her strength has been a huge inspiration for me, and it’s what pushed me to take on this challenge.
It’s easy to forget how lucky we are to be able to move our bodies freely. Staying active is something I love, but Parkinson’s is a powerful reminder that not everyone has that ability. It affects movement, balance, and independence in ways that can make everyday life incredibly challenging. That’s why it feels so important to me to use my body in a way that can make a difference.
I’m proud to be raising money to support research, treatment, and a better quality of life for those affected. While I’m still learning more about the disease myself, I do know that no one should have to face it alone, and every step we take together brings us closer to progress.
I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to run for something bigger than myself. Thank you so much for your encouragement and support. Every donation, no matter the size, means so much.
This one’s for you, Gram ❤️
