Welcome to my 2026 ASICS Falmouth Road Race Page!
On August 16, 2026, I’ll be running the 2026 ASICS Falmouth Road Race on the Gray Nation Endurance Team in support of the National Brain Tumor Society, and in memory of my Mom.
This cause is close to my heart, as is the seven mile distance of this race.
Seven miles is also the distance of the route I used to run my Mom’s house.
In August, 2024, my Mom was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive, and horrific forms of brain cancer. After seven months in March, 2025, my Mom lost her battle. She was the kindest soul, selfless and always giving. Anyone fortunate enough to have known her would agree. She was the best kind of Mom, my biggest supporter, and the one that always made life feel lighter somehow. Her diagnosis, and the months following were indescribably devastating. I will forever admire my Mom’s bravery, and the way she endured her fight with courage and grace.
Although I can’t run from here to heaven, I can run 7 miles again - but with a new purpose this year. One that I know my Mom would be proud to see me support.
I am excited for this opportunity to raise awareness and help fund NBTS, a leading organization in research, advocacy, and patient/family support for those who have been affected by a brain tumor.
