My Story…
Thank you for visiting my page! As most of you know last year after our first Falmouth Road Race my mother lost her battle with Parkinson's Disease on September 10th.
As we approach another road race this August; we also approach the one year anniversary of my mother's passing. It has been an emotional year for my siblings, my father and I but we continue to remember her legacy and remain close as a family. This road race will come with many emotions and again we will run for her!
Last year our family team was the leading fundraising team for the Parkinson's Foundation and made a significant donation to support the Foundation and fund the ongoing research for this horrible disease...this year we plan to hit our goals again! With your support and any contribution we can achieve our goal!
Thank you for your support over the past year and for making a donation to our team; thank you, thank you, thank you!
Matt
Description
I'm ready to run.
I'm running to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Champions. I'm challenging myself to run the marathon to support the Parkinson’s Foundation.
The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies show that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise along with medication, can significantly improve quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. We run and will continue to run for people with Parkinson's because this disease not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
