My Story…

What do you think about when you hear the word Lunchable? Perhaps that iconic snack that you brought to school or work as a quick, easy meal. But for me, Lunchable comes in the form of a brindle boxer. During the summer of 2024, while at the MSPCA shelter, Lunchable–who had started out very shy and fearful–eventually came out of his shell and was adopted by people who provided him with a loving home.

Lunchable, along with tens of thousands of animals ranging from horses to dogs to hamsters, has been taken in by the MSPCA and eventually found their forever home. And as you start trying to comprehend how amazing that is, think about how many people’s lives were positively impacted by that!

Animals play such an important role in our lives; those with pets can certainly agree. They have changed so many people’s lives through their unconditional love and commitment. While many animal shelters, as their name suggests, have animals at the forefront of their mission, the MSPCA stands out. They also recognize the profound connection people have with animals. Money donated to the MSPCA is not only going to animals but also to people in the community as well. Through their community outreach efforts, countless people in need receive support that allows them to remain with their pets.

My time at the MSPCA has allowed me to confidently say that your money will go towards a good cause and make a tremendous impact on countless animals’and people’s lives.
