My Story…
I’m so excited to be running as a “Solemate” for Girls on the Run at the 2026 Falmouth Road Race!
Growing up, participating in sports completely transformed me from the shy, afraid-of-her-own-shadow girl I had been into a young woman with the confidence to spread her own wings.
Girls on the Run is designed to inspire confidence, character, and physical activity in girls beginning at a young age. The program focuses on teaching life skills, fostering positive self-image, and instilling values of confidence, empathy, and resilience. The program incorporates physical activity through running, providing a platform for girls to experience the joy of physical fitness. I’m running for this team because I believe that every young girl should feel empowered to spread their wings and discover their own power, just as fitness has allowed me to do. Your donation will not only fuel my race, but it will fund running shoes, program scholarships, entry fees, mentorship opportunities, and more.

Description
Girls on the Run is more than a running program. Through GOTR's program, trained coaches implement the research-based curriculum that builds lifelong healthy habits. Girls learn the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of physical activity, as well as tools for navigating the challenges of adolescence. Each season concludes with a 5K event where the girls run at their own pace, giving them a sense of achievement and a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
