My Story…
On August 16, I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race with a charity bib for William's Be Yourself Challenge, supporting The Green House — a retreat on Cape Cod that will offer grieving families a place of rest, healing, and connection, free of charge.
I'm running this race in memory of Vinnie Ruschioni, the husband of my dear friend Kylie Ruschioni, and dad to Michael and Leo. Vinnie died at age 44 in a car accident on June 24, and his loss has left a family and community grieving far too soon.
Losing a spouse or child suddenly creates a level of grief that doesn't come with a roadmap, and having a place to simply be, without the pressure of daily life, surrounded by others who understand, can make an enormous difference. That's exactly what The Green House is being built to offer.
I'm asking you to consider a donation in Vinnie's honor. Every contribution helps bring The Green House closer to reality for families like Kylie's, and for others who will walk this same road.
