Why I'm proud to support the Children's Trust
On my right wrist is an orange Children's Trust bracelet that reminds me of the importance of preventing child abuse and neglect. It's hard to talk about abuse, but that silence keeps us from working against it. Children's Trust not only works to end abuse and neglect; they strengthen families through free initiatives that give children and parents the support they need. I love their strengths-based approach. Their staff and program participants are some of my favorite people.
Falmouth is on my bucket list to run. So it's only natural that I'd combine my love of running with my work in advocacy. I'm looking to raise $1,650 for the Children's Trust. $5/ mile comes out to $35, but I am grateful for gifts of any size! Your donation supports the strengthening of families and continued efforts to end abuse and neglect, in Massachusetts and beyond. Thank you!
