I am overjoyed to run the Falmouth Road Race on August 16 as a member of Team Ellie, raising critical funds to support patients navigating breast cancer treatment. 

A breast cancer diagnosis can be physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming. Ellie Fund helps ease those burdens by providing grocery assistance, transportation to treatment, childcare reimbursement, light housekeeping, nutritious meal delivery, and integrative therapies so patients can focus on what matters most: healing. These services reduce stress, remove barriers to care, and help ensure that treatment isn't interrupted because of everyday challenges.

Breast cancer has touched so many of our lives, whether as caregivers, family members, friends, teachers, or some of you. The bravery and grace I have seen those in my life navigate this disease is remarkable. That's why I believe so deeply in the Ellie Fund's mission. By ensuring that every person in Massachusetts undergoing breast cancer treatment has access to the practical support they need to complete treatment, Ellie Fund helps patients focus on healing instead of worrying about how they'll get to their next appointment or put food on the table. Our patient outcomes consistently show that these services reduce treatment-related stress and improve patients' ability to stay connected to care. 

One person at a time, the Ellie Fund team works tirelessly to improve health outcomes and make breast cancer treatment more equitable. 

This year, Ellie Fund expects to support approximately 2,000 patients across Massachusetts, providing more than $2 million in direct services. Every dollar raised helps someone access the care and support they need during one of the most difficult times in their life.
