My Story…
Hi everyone!
As I turned 40, in 2020, I was looking for a new way to challenge myself. What began as daily two‑mile walks turned into virtual 5Ks—and since then I’ve run over 30 in-person 5Ks. I’ve checked off races in five states so far, with a goal of running a 5K in all 50 states by the time I turn 50.
I’m always chasing the next challenge and this year it’s about giving back. I’m thrilled to run the Falmouth Road Race with Colin’s Joy Project. Created by the McGrath family in memory of their son, Colin. The mission at Colin's Joy Project is to spread joy and positivity by building playgrounds and funding programs that support families in need. They strengthen families, create safe places to play, and help build a brighter future.
As a teacher, those values are at the heart of what I try to instill in my students every day—joy, resilience, and community. Your support fuels my miles and helps Colin's Joy Project make a real difference for kids and families. Thank you for being part of this journey!
