Help Linda raise money

My personal experience with Alzheimer's Disease started with the devastating experience of my late grandmother's battle about 30 years ago. She died at age 79 in 2006. 

Unfortunately, my family intersected with Alzheimer's Disease once again with my father's recent diagnosis of (very early stage!) Alzheimer's Disease. We are all very grateful that he is in the earliest possible stage (not "early onset"), is barely symptomatic, and has been receiving high-quality top-notch care in Boston. My dad has volunteered for several research studies to further the research into this pathology, and has joined the advocacy efforts of the Alzheimer's Association to promote legislative and funding initiatives aimed at eradicating this disease.

I am deeply moved by Linda's initiative in bringing focus to this terrible malady, and very grateful for your encouragement in cheering her on, as well as me, Cindy, and the rest of our family.  I am feeling 100% fine and trusting God at every turn on this surreal journey.  He is my “refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46). 

I am running this race in honor of Grandma Eichling and my dad Peter, and for all of those affected by this awful disease. I love you, Dad!
